In honor of National Assisted Living Week, Morning Pointe Senior Living communities across the Southeast strove to “Capture the Moment,” the official theme of this year’s celebration, according to the National Center for Assisted Living’s website. The residents of Morning Pointe of Chattanooga – Shallowford strove to adhere to this theme by creating a time capsule. “We wrote down every resident’s blessing, what they are thankful for and took their photo holding the paper,” said Holly Holcomb, the Life Enrichment director at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga. “The photos are going to be put in a time capsule with other special items and hidden until the next year, when we will open it up to remind ourselves how fortunate we are. It will be fun to open the capsule in 2019!” Shown is Martha Dietz
