Cleveland State Lose Close Matchup Against Chattanooga State

The Cleveland State Men's basketball team lost a close one to Chattanooga State, 68-70.

Victor Curry led the Cougars with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Cam Copeland added 12 points with 4 assists and 2 steals. Collin Herron had a nice game off the bench, adding 12 points to the Cleveland State score. Delaino Walker also scored 10 points.

Overall, the Cougars shot 38% from the field and 50% from the charity stripe. 

This puts the Cougars record at 11-10 (7-7). While boasting a home record of 7-2, the Cougars hold a road record of 3-7. They'll have a chance to work on this when they take on Walters State on the road on Feb. 14, at 5:30 p.m.



Cleveland State Softball Splits With Lake Land College

The Cleveland State Cougars (0-0, 5-2) hosted the Lake Land College Lakers in their home opener on Friday, February 24 and split the doubleheader winning the first game 6-2 while losing the second game 11-0. Cleveland State's Men's basketball team had a deciding win over Dyersburg State  on Friday , winning 98-55. Leading the Cougars in this matchup was Victor Curry who scored 15 points and 12 rebounds. Shots Ring Out At Hamilton Place Mall; Crowds Rush Out In A Panic After "Active Shooter" Call
