168 In Homeless Cold Weather Shelters; Afternoon City Court Operating; Cleveland Offices Open At Noon

The Salvation Army is at capacity with its cold weather shelter at 60 and the Community Kitchen has 108 so far in the cold weather shelter, officials said Tuesday night. 

Kimberly George said, "This is the most the two of us have had so far."

She added, "More are at the Chattanooga Rescue Mission too." 

Lows are not set to reach above freezing in Chattanooga until Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland said Wednesday morning, "Cleveland city offices will open at noon.

"Public works has done an outstanding job of clearing streets."

The Chattanooga City Court will have court Wednesday afternoon  at  3:004:00 and 5:00.

If anyone lives in an area where it is unsafe to drive, their cases will be moved one week to Jan. 24 at the same time.
